Global Bridges is a research-driven initiative dedicated to advancing intercultural understanding as a strategic instrument of diplomacy, international cooperation, and economic engagement. Situated at the intersection of communication scholarship, cultural diplomacy, and global policy, the initiative develops applied knowledge, training frameworks, and collaborative platforms that enhance the capacity of U.S. institutions and partners to engage effectively across cultural and geopolitical boundaries—particularly in West and Central Africa.
At a time of intensifying global competition and shifting alliances, Global Bridges responds to a critical gap in U.S. foreign engagement: the systematic integration of cultural intelligence, local knowledge, and diaspora-mediated expertise into diplomacy, development, and international business practice. The initiative treats intercultural competence not as a soft or auxiliary skill, but as a core strategic capability essential to peace-building, trust formation, and sustainable international partnership.
Mission
The mission of Global Bridges is to strengthen U.S. diplomatic, economic, and societal engagement abroad by producing rigorous research, applied training, and collaborative platforms that translate intercultural knowledge into policy-relevant and practice-oriented outcomes.
Leadership

Founder and Director, Global Bridges
Dr. Ngoe is a scholar of intercultural and organizational communication with specialized expertise in cultural diplomacy, conflict communication, and indigenous models of collaboration. He holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Colorado Boulder, where his research examined indigenous communicative practices of conflict management and collaboration in Cameroon. His work integrates ethnographic inquiry, decolonial theory, and applied communication research to address contemporary challenges in diplomacy, governance, and international engagement.
Dr. Ngoe’s scholarship and professional practice span academic research, intercultural training, community-based diplomacy, and policy-oriented analysis. Global Bridges builds on this foundation to institutionalize a research-to-practice model of intercultural engagement aligned with U.S. national interests.
Programmatic Pillars

Programs emphasize leadership development, policy engagement, and transnational bridge-building.
